ABOUT US

ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

The Warmth Initiative (TWI) for Human Needs Response is a youth-led non-profit organization addressing homelessness and multidimensional vulnerability across Nigeria, through dignity-first humanitarian interventions. We combine immediate relief with pathways to long-term stability.

Founded on the belief that no one should go without food, shelter, or the essentials of daily life. We respond where the need is greatest by showing up with consistency, compassion, and neccessary action.

We are committed to providing food assistance, menstrual hygiene kits and basic relief support to vulnerable individuals, including women, youth and underserved communities. We address food insecurity, poor hygiene access and social exclusion, working to improve wellbeing and restore dignity among those in need

Our Purpose

The Warmth Initiative aims to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals by providing access to food, hygiene support and basic care. We strive to restore dignity, reduce vulnerability and promote social inclusion within underserved communities.

OUR CORE VALUES

Dignity

We believe every human being deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their circumstances. This shapes how we speak about, and to, the people we serve

Compassion

We show up with empathy, not pity. We are moved by the reality of those we serve and respond with genuine care.

Integrity

We are honest about what we do, transparent about how we use resources, and accountable to those who trust us.

Community

We believe sustainable change happens with people, not for them. We work alongside communities, not above them.

Resilience

We celebrate the strength of those who have overcome hardship, and we build an organisation strong enough to serve them for the long term

Partnership

We collaborate with stakeholders for amplified impact among vulnerable individuals.
